Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coaches. In her final year, she was a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut. In addition to acting, she has been part of a range of game-based programs. The daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two siblings at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with who she has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as a perfect wife and mother. Post has been a source of inspiration to many people within Hollywood.
