Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995 in Berkeley California USA. She is an actor well-known for Choices 2010 (also in the form of The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), and The Heart and Other Small Shapes.
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations that she's pursued. As a young girl, she made her acting debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she played the leading role in the first feature of Cristina Comencini's film Zoo. She was also one of Michele's acting cast for The Church. In the year following the film, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's child on screen in Red Wood Pigeon. Her career took off when she was cast as Nanni's girl for the film Close Friends. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. Daria Argento as well as her mother and one Argento's favorite actors, Daria, played an anorexic teenager searching for the killer of her parents Trauma. Asia has worked with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome as well as the Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze, Asia's absorbent style of intense acting was well utilized. She played Arianna in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista, a physically-disabled girl, was a difficult and intricate role, which earned she the David di Donatello award for the best actor. She had a feature part on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995 she worked together with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration earned her the David di Donatello prize and an award called a Grolla oro. In 1994, Asia decided to try direct and made two short films in the episode of the movie De Generazione In 1996 she produced a documentary about her father, and in 1998, another film on the legendary director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which received an award from The Rome Film Festival. Asia debuted as a director in 1999 when she directed Scarlet Diva. She was also the principal screenwriter and actress. The film debuted in the month of May in Italy and the rest of the world. The Williamsburg Film festival held in Brooklyn, New York awarded it with a prize.
