Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist who is currently fighting at flyweight in the UFC. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start combat sports as a Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals with a unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko took home another medal in 2007 with a bronze, a silver in 2008, and a gold in the year 2011, and won the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in 2016. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina's final fight took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She won with a majority. Antonina Shevchenko made her first professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by two more bouts at the WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short absence from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa through a unanimous decision, before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. After this win, Antonina was offered a UFC contract. Antonina was given the UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision after she won her first fight. Antonina recovered from this loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and beat Ariane. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
